A lesson in compatibility

Tue Oct 13, 2009, 11:41 PM

  • Watching: Lucky Star

  • Drinking: OJ
So my Cintiq arrived at the shop today. I was so excited until I tried setting it up. The box contains 3 cables I don't need and 2 power adapters I don’t need. What I do need is a mini-VGA to DVI and it hasn't got one. So it works as a tablet but I can't get the LCD screen to show anything. Not until I get an adapter.

So who’s fault is this? Well Mac for racing ahead and moving to mini-VGA before the rest of the world. Shore its small fast and convenient just like the ipod and all other things mac. But ther have to realise people have trouble letting go. But letc not forget wacom for expecting every imac user to go out and buy the stupid adaptor instead of including it in the box. Its nice that wacom are backwards compatible an included an analogy video cable for those cave men artists who are moving away from scraping stones on cave walls. But they didn’t think to be forwards compatible.

Lucky I have a lucky star DVD to calm me down.

Oh, hey! It took me a while to remember to look you up, but I did. I'm Aaya, the brown-haired girl from the group to drew with on Friday night. 8D I looked and looked, but I couldn't find you all weekend! A couple of my friends (they wew cosplaying Maka and Chrona) met you, though, said you were awesome.
Maybe we'll see you next year?
